Starlink is the name of a satellite network made by the private spaceflight firm SpaceX in an effort to deliver low-cost internet to farflung sites.
Starlink satellites last about five years each, and SpaceX eventually plans to have as many as 42,000 satellites in this so-called megaconstellation.
According to Spaceflight Now, the current (as of the date in question) V2 Starlink satellite version tips the scales at about 1,760 lbs (800 kilograms) at launch, nearly three times as heavy as the older generation satellites (573 lbs/260 kg).
Starlink provides high-speed Internet virtually anywhere on the planet.
